AND THEN THERE WAS NONE

As we were coming back from church last night, I looked out the car window and said to Kev, “ Tomorrow all the doves will be gone”. How did I know? The day before, one of the babies were gone, with only the other baby and momma dove still in the nest. I could almost hear her talking with the last baby, “ I know it looks scary but you’re ready for it. Your dad and I have provided everything you needed to prepare you for this moment. Your baby sister ( of course it’s a girl baby dove that left first!), has already left and did perfect. It’s your turn. You can do this. We will always be with you, just like we have been in the past. But it’s time to fly…fly to your greatest potential…fly towards your purpose that you were meant to live..oh, and by the way, we love you now and forever”. Now, it might have also been that the mama bird wasn’t thinking of anything and this is just the process of nature, but, as a mom myself, that might have been what I would have said! Have you ever been in a situation where you were scared to step out into a new place, a new relationship, a new career, a life alone, anything that was not in your comfort zone? Sometimes it works out and there is great JOY. But, sometimes, it doesn’t turn out the way you thought it would. The marriage you thought was the right one ends in divorce. The job you had dreamed about lays you off. Were those decisions wrong? In Gods scheme for your life, they are the stepping stones to the path you were meant to be on. So, don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. Step into that new life, knowing that the one who created you and will always love you, will be right by your side, leading you to your greatest destiny….your eternal life with Him. Just ask Him and He will be with you always. Fly baby FLY! Life is just beginning to get good….
